Probably Eliot's closure changes were developed in a 3.8 image, that's how
it was reintroduced. I think it's safe to remove this part from Object >>
#doesNotUnderstand:
(Preferences autoAccessors
and: [self tryToDefineVariableAccess: aMessage]) ifTrue:
[^aMessage sentTo: self].
