I tried with a fresh Squeak 4.2 10548 upgraded to 10788 running on Squeak 4.2.4beta1U.app from the Squeak4.1-mac.zip 4.1 release, and it doesn't seem to be any different. Did the tests before saving.
cmd-leftclick shows mouseDown CMD blue
cntl-cmd leftclick shows mouseDown CMD red

etc.
