Thanks for testing.  These are the same tests that have been failing
for some time.  My guess on the Socket test is that possibly Socket
class>>#initialize didn't get run?

10966 is planned to be the official first release of 4.2.  We know we
have some bugs, and we always will, but we also know 4.2 is better
than 4.1 and good enough to run production applications on.

4.2 now has its own source repository (actually, "project") to which
we can commit fixes.  It's possible we will have a 4.2 maintenance
release later, but unless we find a major problem, probably we will
just forge ahead with trunk.
