You don't need to do all that work to install MetacelloBrowser.
Just get the configuration and it fetches all its dependencies,
including Metacello:

Installer squeaksource
 project: 'MetacelloBrowser';
 install: 'ConfigurationOfMetacelloBrowser'.

((Smalltalk at: #ConfigurationOfMetacelloBrowser) project version:
#stable) load.
