I don't have a Raspberry Pi yet, but I couldn't wait to check this out, so
I googled a bit and found a way to do this with the regular version of
Minecraft.

Got the Minecraft Pi API from Mojang:

http://pi.minecraft.net

I installed a Bukkit server:

http://wiki.bukkit.org/Setting_up_a_server

And a plugin which provides a subset of Minecraft Pi Edition's API:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/raspberryjuice

Loaded Bert's MC packages, did the #rainbow: demo, and voila! Rainbow.

Sweeeeeeeet. Now I can use PetitParser to make MineLogo :D
