OMG I'm stunned.  Shocked.  Saddened.  Mostly for Andreas' family --
they were still newly-weds and IINM Andreas was a father too.  This is
a crushing blow to his family and friends and to our community as
well.

Andreas, I didn't know you well -- only met you once, but I always
considered you my friend.  I loved your personality and the way you
unflinchingly dealt cold hard facts to move our community forward.  We
NEED your mix of personality and intelligence and that makes this all
the more devastating a loss.  May you rest in peace.
