For me they are programming Smalltalk environment.

c) matching the teacher needs

d) ease of re-usability of simulation

f) ease to glue simulations together build meta-simulation

g) in-situ documentation and guiding

Hi all,

I've upgraded all VMs and Travis has rebuilt all 18150 bundles:
http://files.squeak.org/5.2alpha/Squeak5.2alpha-18150-32bit/
http://files.squeak.org/5.2alpha/Squeak5.2alpha-18150-64bit/

Newer bundles will also ship with these VMs.

Happy testing,
Fabio

I found and fixed a serious bug with the mapping between machine code and
bytecode pcs in the JIT today. I therefore want us to use the sources I
just pushed for the new release. This is my preference. I will not
insist. But if we find that VMs built from the latest source work (after
all most of VMMaker.oscog is very stable; the volatile parts are of
as-yet-unreleased JITs, SistaCogit, RegisterAllocatingCogit, et al), then
it might be best to go with the new, after success in suitable shake down &
release testing, of course.
