Tim, I understand the theory of your argument, but I don't see how it would apply here. Wouldn't debugging be even easier if you had two instead of one knobs for debugging?

#on:when:do: isn't a terrible idea but be aware of the all-too-common problem of getting too clever. Remember, debugging is at least twice as hard as writing code and so if you make your code as clever as you can...
