We *should* be able to change it - in fact there used to be a prim to set it, back when the VM checked for it. Ah, yes, see EventSensor>>#initialize. Personally, I still don't trust that the system can truly Do It Right without the VM tweaking the interruptSemaphore. I mean, if anything holds back the event processing a good deal of time can pass betwen the key being pressed and the event handled and these days a *lot* of code can run in a millisecond, let alone 100mS.
