Hi all!

Today I noticed that in our Nabble forum, apparently all posts by "commits-2" have been deleted, here are just a few examples:

http://forum.world.st/The-Inbox-Morphic-ct-1690-mcz-td5122760.html

http://forum.world.st/The-Inbox-Tools-ct-1044-mcz-td5129255.html

http://forum.world.st/FFI-FFI-Kernel-mt-135-mcz-td5129498.html

> CONTENTS DELETED

> The author has deleted this message.

The issue appears also to affect other lists, on the Magma list, for example, they even lost posts by real personas:

http://forum.world.st/Pharo-Port-td4944602.html (here is the intact versions from the Wayback machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20170814133642/http://forum.world.st/Pharo-Port-td4944602.html)

Just focusing on the threads indexed on Google, at least a three-digit number of threads are affected: https://www.google.com/search?q=%22The+author+has+deleted+this+message.%22+site%3Aforum.world.st

Did anyone else already experience similar issues in the past? Do we have any backups to restore these posts? Could some admin maybe please take a look at this? Was this some maintenance incident? Is the account for "commits-2" passwort-protected or could anyone have abused it?

I know we still have the pipermail archives, but IMO Nabble is much more convenient, used very often to link older contents and I think loosing this platform would hit us as a community.

Best,

Christoph
