the first part, "remember extent", has already been implemented by me as an optional setting for Morphic. It is currently lying on Marcel's long pile of things to review, I guess. :D Also remembering the position should not be too tricky from this point. If you are interested in trying out the changeset, I can share it with you.

Hi Folks.

I like to keep the Transcript closed, but when I do need it it would be nice if it would remember its last position and size.
That little "down triangle" drop down menu on the right with "change title, "make uncloseable", etc...  would be a handy place for such a thing.

just a suggestion if anybody has time or interest.
