Hi Robin,

There are 2 ways that I know of to stream in jpeg files:

1. Click anywhere on the Squeak background to bring up a world menu. Click on "new morph....," "from a file...." and then click on the jpeg you want to stream in. Sometimes the jpeg doesn't show up on this list and if so, go to #2.

2. If your jpeg doesn't show up on the file list then you can stream the jpeg in with "file list" on the menu flap. If you need a menu flap, bring up a world menu, and click on add menu flap. Then click on "file lis" on the "open" menu. Find your jpeg in the list of files and click on it. If you are a pc-user, right click, then click on read "open image in a window" or "open image as background." If you are a Mac-user, I think it is option click. I'll double check when I get to a Mac today.

With my best,
