color=#000000>Wow, <BR> Croquet is terrific! I was up until 2am this
morning wandering <BR>around to various places and getting the hang of how to
navigate in <BR>the space. The user interface kind of reminds me of the stuff
shown <BR>in the film "Minority Report". Anyway, it's refreshing to see
<BR>someone build a 3D world for sharing information with other people
<BR>instead of killing them.<BR><BR> Just when I was getting
depressed because I couldn't find another <BR>Smalltalk job, Croquet comes along
to put a smile on my face. Thanks <BR>Alan and the whole Croquet team! Maybe
late binding will make a <BR>comeback after all.<BR><BR> I really want to
develop some kind of collaborative application <BR>using Squeak and Croquet.
I've been looking into Groove <BR>(</FONT><A href="http://www.groove.net"><FONT
face="Times New Roman">www.groove.net</FONT></A><FONT face="Times New Roman"
color=#000000>). It's a Windows only (unfortunately) collaborative
<BR>environment written by Ray Ozzie, of Lotus Notes fame. What do <BR>people
think about the idea of building a Squeak client for Groove? <BR><BR> I
see a lot of potential for Croquet. The 3D user experience is a <BR>lot more fun
than the 2D user experience. Unfortunately, sometimes I <BR>get lost while
walking around. ;-) For instance, I haven't been able <BR>to find the shark room
again after playing with it last night. Where <BR>is it? Would it be possible to
have some kind of dynamic map or <BR>signposts? Maybe we need a guide avatar who
