we wrote a paper about Chalten last year and it was presented at
ESUG. It has been publish also in the Elsevier "Computer, Languages,
Systems and Structures" journal.... We compared our solution to the one
used by Java and .Net... we also compared it to other more academic
solutions.<br>

The paper's version publish at Elsevier has more info that the one

You can read, in the paper written by Hernan for ESUG 2005, a
comparison between three models: the abstractions of dates and times of
Smalltalk 80, Chronology, and Chalten (although still it was not called
thus). The paper also talk about models in other languages but does not
make a comparison with Chronos.
