It works!!!! Thank you very much! We were having this problem for a long time. Now we will be able to use Arduino on Linux (and also other projects that uses the SerialPort such as SqueakNxt). I am so happy! :D<div><br></div>

With the standard plugin you can only access /dev/ttyS[0-9], so if you want to use /dev/rfcomm0 for instance you can create a symlink to one of the unused /dev/ttyS[5-9].<br>If you follow those two it works pretty reliable.<br>

It says that John McIntosh made an EnhancedSerialPort plugin. Is it installed on the latest unix VMs? <br>It also says that Benjamin Schroeder wrote a SimpleSerialPort library. Which one should I use?<br><br>
