<br>It seems I stumbled on the only dialog case where the problem

manifests and incorrectly attributed it to all cases.  Sorry.

<br>It's how I typically exit the image gracefully -- Alt+F4, followed by

one of the keys (Y or N, with ESC to cancel).  I'm on Linux.

<br>It now only works after the Hand has graced the dialog,

<br>until then it won't respond to any of the keys, and ESC will also

produce a menu and allow further input outside the dialog.
