[BUG][FIX]Saving snapshot to other directories ( [et] Fails on Windows if the new directory does not exist )

This change works if the new directory you are trying to save to already
exists. However, at least on windows, it fails if the directory does not
exist. The directory is not created, the image is not saved and the
debugger pops up with various failures depending on which option of the
"can't find changes file" menu is chosen.
