See group "[BUG][FIX] Scamper doesn't start in 3.7a-5526". I looked
through the solution and it doesn't work on other platforms - and it is
not RFC1738 proper either. The mentioned FIX is though. I did notice Lex
Spoon has also posted some code for this issue - I will look at that too
and possibly integrate into the mentioned FIX above.
