Yep..in the OpenDBX webpage:
http://www.linuxnetworks.de/doc/index.php/OpenDBX/DBMS_Datatypes

it says:

[1] Supported since MySQL 4.1.0, before only BOOL was recognized

[2] MySQL maps BOOLEAN to TINYINT(1)
"
