For the platforms in Glorp, Adabas and SAPDB are something
someone did a long time and aren't really supported. Niall Ross
sort of maintains Firebird. I think I did Ocelot myself a long
time ago, and its main good thing is that it's very
standards-compliant. Access works in VisualWorks, but these days
the Access you get from Microsoft is really just SQL Server
lite, and SQLite does a better job on the role that Access used
to provide. The important platforms are Postgresql, SQLite,
MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Current versions in VisualWorks
also have DB2.<br>
