[Squeakland] Ubuntu Dapper bug

I installed squeakland from the deb repos and I am getting a strange
bug when running squeakland stand-alone.  It works in the browser
fine.  When I run squeakland the window continuously gets smaller in
the horizontal direction.  Once it reaches a zero width, it dies with
this error:

for operation)
