Esther had a similar problem running etoys on ubuntu 6.10, which probably =

doesn't use utf8 as locale.

Is the vm-option "-encoding utf-8" the reason?

On ubuntu 8.04 everything is fine, only npsqueakregister seems to be =

missing in the .deb
