[squeakland] Translation issues

Hi. I'm using the latest etoys (etoys-4.0.2340) in a linux environment and
in portuguese. The program runs fine except that some strings don't get
translated at all, look http://imgur.com/OXZDd. In this image the string
"when this script should run" should be translated to "quando este script
deve rodar" according to the portuguese po file. Why some string don't get
translated even when there are translations for them in the po file?
Besides, I'm a developer and would like to know more about how the squeak
works together with the gettext. If there is some way that I can do to help
in the translation process please let me know.
