Etoys does not ship with Cyrillic fonts, so she has to load a Cyrillic font 
into her image before changing the language to Russian.

Drag-n-drop a Cyrillic font TTF file (usually found in C:\Windows\fonts\). if 
this doesn't work, then press CTRL-, to bring up the world menu and choose 
open->file list, navigate to cyrillic fonts and press "install ttf".

She can also try loading external fonts using 'fF' halo button from any 
TextMorph.

This area needs attention from Cyrillic-aware developers.
