much the same for me. I have modified StringMorph etc (for the new look, as
"fixes") to set the bounds, when shrink wrapped to the minimum extent reported
by the font. Perhaps that calculation is a bit off. Just a

HintingLight mode in the Preference browser. (If you already have HintingLight
selected, then switch to HintingNone, and then back to HintingLight - this
