Some people have asked me why I chose to write auto-build in ruby.

I think that my preferred solution for autobuild would be created within 
gjallar, and this is  perhaps where the future lies.

At the moment, my machine is not powerful enough to keep an image 
running just for the auto-build side of things. Ruby has a really cool 
file io library called rio which makes a lot of things very easy,  so 
ruby it is for now.
