I am not exactly sure. I asked the question "where are we starting from" 
expecting the answer to be with the Kernel Image, however beginning with 
3.9-final was the answer I received. I kind of prefer that because it is 
less of a radical change for my head to understand, and the Kernel Image 
is fairly unfriendly. When I used it it had no error handlers and would 
go into a recursive loop if you made a typing error.

If that one framework is good enough then sure, but in SUnit we lack 
things like mocks
I don't have any problem with having more than one test framework as 
long as they can be used together seamlessly in the same testing tools.
