You could test yourself.
Do a good backup of your 3.9 (final only)
IF you don't have a super mess image as I , should work
Open the left Squeak flap
Press updates

Answer yes to all 
You should end with a clean , fresh, Squeak3.10alpha.7068.image in 5 minutes
or so

And give to Bert the Award to good adviser .

If you send what wish the new Squeaker see when download a complete user
image , I put in the Welcome to 3.10 window.
