Oh, ya, I was following the unix vm for clues about how to implement
the key down/up/char logic and noticed
it was broken.
I'll note that Tetsuya Hayashi tetha at st.rim.or.jp supplied patches
and testing to confirm the mac
carbon vm worked correctly for Japanese input back in april of 2004.
Also note all this work was re-factored on the conversion to unix
file names and I have some concerns
that I might have made a mistake or two since I'm unable to
understand how to fully test to confirm everything
works as expected, beyond careful reading.
