[Vm-dev] Ubuntu Linux 9 and unix install

Just to note there may still be a problem with PulseAudio on Ubuntu
9.10. The PA plugin for Squeak uses PA's "simple" API and worked fine
until 9.10. I made one unsuccessful attempt to get it working again
earlier this month but will look into it again soon.
