I do not see the shrinking problem in Virtual Box using Ubuntu 12.04 LTE 32 bits, fully updated. How exactly would I have to resize to trigger that?

I DO see the black window problem when clicking the maximize button in the window title bar. It also happens in Etoys (see http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-400 ).
