Hi Estaban

I don't think it is appropriate for me to commit to the pharo repository.

The work I am doing makes no changes to CMakeVMMaker and the pharo code.
I am only making Squeak specific additions of SqueakXYZConfig, some method overrides of PluginGenerator and VMGenerator.

While they do depend on CMakeVMMaker, they are in a separate package.

cheers.

 Hi,

No… as you can see in the main description, what you see there is a mirror, and is just R/O.
If you want to commit to the pharo repository, you can take the sources that are in: https://github.com/pharo-project/pharo-vm (mc subdirectory has the filetree version of packages).

What you should do is to clone the pharo-vm project and put your stuff there. Then you can just give me a pull request.

Of course, you need filetree in your system, but AFAIK, metacello loads fine in squeak too.

Hi All.

Assuming I have write permissions to that package, I will be manually saving the packages at http://smalltalkhub.com/mc/Pharo/PharoVM/main to source.squeak.org/VMMaker

The smalltalkHub versions start at: CMakeVMMaker-EstebanLorenzano.271 while the source.squeak.org versions end at:CMakeVMMaker-tty.215 so there will be gap in the sequencing.

I will hold off until I here from Tim R. Dave or Eliot.

Cheers,

tty.
