[Vm-dev] DirectX superseded by mingw provided files?

in fact, I do not have this problem in my installation (but I have others). 
anyway, the thing is we (Hernan & me) are trying to build the vm with MinGW instead cygwin because problems with third-party apps. 

anyway, most probably we will need to create a Makefile.mingw to add the extra rules we need…
