You folks probably know about Justine Tunney and her work on cosmopolitan
and blink:

Blink binary is a statically linked binary that runs on various platforms.
It is 200kb in size. and It has the back in time debugger (just by pressing
up arrow). It has its own JIT compiler to emulate x64.

It'd be an interesting library to develop a JIT compiler with it, perhaps.
