Instead the definitive code is in platforms/Cross/vm/sqVirtualMachine.[ch]. I think it is better to have InterpreterProxy define the return types (via the pragmas) and to use these definitions for tests. See VMInterfaceConsistencyTests>>#testInterpreterProxyInterface.</div>
