<p>It sounds correct, I verified <code>man errno</code> for freebsd, openbsd, linux and all mention <code><errno.h></code><br>
I think it comes from macos, where <code>man errno</code> does not answer anything usefull...<br>
But where I get this answer to <code>man 2 intro</code></p>
