I didn't mean that you were a news creator/pusher. I meant that we 
signed up to create and maintain the website. That's all. If one accepts 
the job to maintain the homepage, then.... they should maintain it. 
However, maybe my assumption that the team and community wants an active 
homepage is wrong. That's ok, I can adjust.

Ha! I don't think it should be blank, but I catch your drift.  Maybe it 
should have a bit more content. Don't know what, though. The "Next 
Steps" is a great idea... that's for sure.
That's my input, but I have been wrong many times in the past :-)
