Is there a tandard way to attach context menus

Hello all, is there a standard way to attach a context menu to a morph? It's fairly easy to do by checking for yellowButtonPressed and manually firing up a MenuMorph. But it is sufficient to implement #addCustomMenuItems:hand: to get an enhanced Halo menu while #addYellowButtonMenuItemsTo:event: and #hasYellowButtonMenu don't help. Omnibrowser help

Are there some tips/documentation somewhere on getting the most out of the OmniBrowser? The MulitpleSelection browser looks interesting (sort of like the tabbed browser in VisualWorks), but I don't quite understand its behaviour and what method it decides to show in which pane when you move around or save changes. On the same topic, can anyone point me toward how I could add a new item to the class context menu in the OmniBrowser? I want to add a new template selection menu item (like "new class template" and "new trait template") because I have created a method that creates TWO classes at the same time for an Aida application (A domain model class AND its associated WebApp class). Resources with Monticello

Hi all, how does one work with resources (e.g. image files (GIFs, ...)) used in the application when working with Monticello and in general? Right now I have them on my hard drive and they are read live into Squeak when they are needed. Of course, others don't have the files at hand when working in a distributed fashion. What are the best practices in regard of distribution/packaging as well as performance? User account for squeak wiki.squeak.org

I am trying to edit a page but I can't find the place to create a user account. When I click the edit button in some page from the wiki, Iceweasel (Debian's unbranded Firefox) ask for a username and a password. When I click the history button, I get a list of changes and in the user column I see strings like: ACCF7AF4.ipt.aol.com so this makes me think that the edition of pages it is open and your IP address is used as your username. But, the problem is, I can't pass the user/password request. The user/password dialog says: http://wiki.squeak.org solicita un usuario y contraseña. El sitio dice: "/squeak/*" Something like: http://wiki.squeak.org needs a username and password. The site says: "/squeak/*" And if I click the cancel button it responds with: Unauthorized for: /squeak/* Can you please tell me what is the process to edit a page in the wiki.squeak.org? Network Game

Hello, I am trying to implement a (kind of) social science experiment, and would like to do that in squeak. For that I would like to connect four computers. On each computer you see a shared screen. Each user can manipulate one aspect on that screen. More specifically: There is one ball in the center of the screen. And each of the users can move the ball in one direction. So they control the ball together. It should be really easy to do, but I do not have too much experience with programming something like that. Is that possible with squeak? How should I start? Is somebody interested in programming something like that? Best Martin

Is Squeak VM running on HP 310?

I am trying to assess if squeak has been ported (or is easily portable) on a new small device that I purchsed at a good price. The HP 310 Travel Companion is a GPS car navigation system that runs on Windows CE 6.0. It is apparently fairly easy to hack since it has a sd card slot and can boot from this ressource. It has a nice compact form factor and a bright touch screen. I am thinking of many nice little applications I could write for this with Squeak Anybody has already done the ground work for this device or could point me in a direction?

SmartRefStream use

I'm trying to measure SmartRefStream performance. I'm a bit confused on what kind of buffer I can use in combination with what kind of stream. Writing the object to file works. Do I need to write an end marker to the buffer? re[Newbies] cover a deleted image??

Hi, in tidying up before installing Ubuntu Jaunty, I've misplaced a Squeak image and changes file that I would really have preferred to keep. Does anyone have any experience of 'undeleting' an image file under Linux? There seem to be utilities that will get back more common file types, or which can accept a specific 'recipe' to look for a user defined file type. If anyone has done this I'd be very grateful. It's not anything terribly important, but there were quite a few hours of work in it. Adding menu options to Omnibrowser

I thought it would be nice to add a right click option to class methods that "ran" that method...for use with examples and such. So, for example, instead of typing "MyClass exampleThisOrThat," when browsing you could just right click and "run it." Any tips on where to start? I have no knowledge of OB... Rob
