IMHO we should release 5.0 as it is, now (it has been ready to go for weeks). And then do a 5.0.1 in a few weeks, which should have this fix.- Bert -On 25.04.2012, at 00:58, karl ramberg wrote:Thank you for the fixes.I'm not sure if we can get this into the the release ?What do you think, Bert ?Karl_______________________________________________On Tue, Apr 24, 2012 at 5:24 PM, Koji Yokokawa <ky@yengawa.com> wrote:
Thank you to share your video.
It's nice demo how to control Scratch from Etoys.
I look forward to see chat system or multi-player games.

Koji,
Thank you very much, this is a great addition to Etoys.
I created an initial how to video for using it:
http://youtu.be/cpML_rGti1c where kids can "choreagraph" their own dance
moves. It could be extended where kids take pictures of themselves in
different dance positions.
I can also see kids creating their own chat applications, multi-player
games, and many things I can't think of :)
Thanks again,
Stephen

I reported issues about ScratchConnect and put patches to fix them in
Etoys 5.0 RC3.
SQ-1085 (ScratchConnect broadcast tile doesn't work in ScriptEditor)
http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-1085
SQ-1086 (improve ScratchClientMorph vocabulary )
http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-1086
SQ-1087 (ScratchConnect Player>>sensorUpdate: lacks a space)
http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-1087
These patches will make it work correctly so far.
Please tell me any issues about ScratchConnect I will respond them.
