Happy New Year everyone.
Ken has kindly added new mantis status levels for us, I think he will do a more detailed article about this at some point.
The planned use of these levels is as follows.
"pending" - means fix-available for download "testing" - means put the fix into the test candidate - i.e. "unstable" image. "resolved" - means put the fix into the release candidate - i.e. "stable" image.
Only the resolved issues with the "fixed-in" field set to 3.11 will be included in the stable image.
I will work my way through the current set of fixes this weekend
Keith
I don't plan anything beyond:
http://kencausey.vox.com/library/post/new-squeak-mantis-issue-statuses.html
I recommend that someone (other than me) write up guidelines for prospective contributors including this and other relevant information. I would be happy to add it or a link to it to the Mantis News and/or Mantis project documentation.

I have discovered that to set the "fixed in" field in bulk (using the issues list and the checkboxes down the side) I used the "Resolve" option from the drop down. This was a bad idea. When you set the "fixed in" to 3.11, it changes the status to "resolved", "open" to "fixed" so then I had to change the status back to "testing".
So the fixed in field has to be set individually within the "update issue" form
Keith
I have done a first pass of all mantis fixes.
All fixes to be included in the next build of 3.10.2bc-beta are status "resolved" and fixed in "3.10.2bc".
All Squeak fixes which have an installer script attached are now status "pending".
All fixes which were previously managed in the test-candidate tasks, are now status "testing", read to be included in the first test candidate build 3.11tc
So... our 3.11 in-tray is the "pending" category.
