Awesome! Aeshtiyaba! I took your image here, without the BYTE text, and spent 3 hours with a wonderful VistaPrint designer, Anna, from Tunisia. She helped me

a) increase resolution and sharpness of Vanessa’s Squeaky logo
b) redesign the Squeak biz cards I’ve just ordered
c) redesign the poster I’ve just ordered
d) add to a PVC-free Board for presentations around ESqueak at my 29th Physics Reunion at the exquisite Guilford College March 24th through 25th.

I hope to be able to present ESqueak in completed form.

c) & d) are identical. I am attaching proofs you can use to generate your own materials if this design is acceptable. Of course, they must be accepted as is. No mods allowed.

Come January, when I’ve a few Egyptian Pounds clinking in me pocket, I plan to engage the VistaPrint design team to make this Smalltalk poster higher resolution. I’ll get the experts to work it right.

Alright then, best!

They’re too big to attach, so I put 2 scans (medium- and hi-res) on my web site at,

So no one has got a perfect magazine and scanner? Then I will try my luck with some upscaling algorithms. Anyway, thank you! :-)

Mine was lost in a house move years ago. Hard to believe that anyone
would get rid of a perfectly good used magazine from the 1980s but
apparently these things happen. What was I thinking?
