I’ve installed squeak successfully on a set of laptops from a
ghost image and it works fine on all except one. On this computer when I open
squeak I immediately get handles displayed in the corners of the world and the
label “world” and the program is non-responsive, although it will
close. It’s obviously opening in some state in which the world is an
object, but why? And why only on this one computer? I
tried re-installing Squeak from the web site but it didn’t help. If
anyone has seen this before, I’d appreciate your insights.
