If VM developers were to update LSMinimumSystemVersion in the Info.plist for the OS X VM, it stands to reason that the VM will stop crashing on earlier, no-longer supported versions of OS X. On my Cog V3 VM 4.5-3732, the value is set to 10.6.0, which probably sends the wrong message to OS X.
I'm sorry if this issue has already been addressed -- it is unclear to me how to acquire new binaries of the latest VMs through GitHub.
