I am unfamiliar with Mingw and I have installed the binutils per the HowToBuild. Running the mvm I get a 'make: command not found'.

Am I missing some more mingw stuff? or do I have to install the gnu make?

I can figure it out, but I would prefer not to waste time if possible.

I haven't built a VM, but for other stuff, in cygwin search “make” and select “Devel > make”, and tick resolve dependencies.

I see http://squeakvm.org/win32/compiling.html lists some other packages, but the post is not dated.

Can you provide the link to the HowToBuild. It doesn't show up in the first pages of google.
