Hmm, that might be worth investigating. It works fine with Cuis5.0-3040-spur-64 on a Mac VM.

Correction: fat fingers here was holding down the wrong key. Cmd-. (as in alt-.) does interrupt this image.

When the freeze happens, alt-. has no effect.
