This fix breaks behavior when using JavaScript to enable and disable 
checkboxes. I think the problem should not
be fixed and in the responsibility of the user to handle the callback 
of the checkboxes properly.

I know of a few applications that make use of JavaScript to enable and 
disable checkboxes. They don't work
anymore, if the second callback is not registered.
