At a guess:
This sounds like you answered "yes" to Comanches "Do you want to 
install Seaside?" question.  Unfortunately, Comanche's load script 
doesn't check for MCInstaller before asking this, which is required to 
load Seaside.  Install MCInstaller from SqueakMap, and reinstall 
Seaside, and you should be fine.
