The WireShark idea was an excellent one!!!! I can now clearly see that 
KomAjpServer handles one request and then "somebody in Squeak" 
terminates the connection (TCP-FIN) - so I'd say it's definitely 
something on the Squeak Side.

Let the debugging begin :-)
