Hi Dave,

You can use the onComplete: option of a jQAjax and trigger a full page request from javascript:

html button 
	onClick: (html jQuery ajax 
				serializeForm;
				onComplete: (html javascript callback: [self answer: 'tadaaa!']);
	with: 'Update'
