I worked on the model classes of the editor, focusing on the problem
to create a runtime extensible layer-based architecture. I also wrote
tests for that problems.

I will focus on the mark (cursor) objects, writing simple tests for
them.

> 3) what can possibly stand in the way of your work?

At this stage, It is not so clear how marks will be used in the final
application, and if them should be visible by the UI objects. I will
discuss about it with my mentor.
